I’ve had the pleasure of visiting various French Truck Coffee locations, and the experience is always reliably excellent! This most recent visit was no exception, despite arriving close to closing time, the staff remained incredibly welcoming and friendly, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the New Orleans Iced Coffee along with the pistachio and strawberry pastry, and it turned out to be a perfect pairing. The coffee was smooth, rich, and refreshing. The pastry was fresh and flavorful, with a delicate balance of nuttiness and fruitiness. Whether you’re looking for a morning boost or a late afternoon pick-me-up, this combo hits the spot. French Truck continues to deliver on both quality and hospitality. Highly recommend!
This is a lovely respite for a nice break in the French quarter. The service was outstanding and the young man who looked a little bit like Van Gogh was very professional and accommodating when I was there 10/13/25. The cappuccino was outstanding and much better than the bland tasteless cup I had earlier elsewhere. It's nicely air-conditioned and very comfortable.
The Ethiopia pour over was fire. They have this automatic v60 machines that actual goose neck pours . Better than the percolator drips machines in other coffee shops. The barista was knowledgeable . They also have cold brew in the slow Japanese drippers
First off, the cappuccino was excellent—just like the ones I used to get in Europe. I also loved the cute yellow coffee cups! The café is small but very clean, and I was pleasantly surprised by how fast the Wi-Fi was. Their pastries looked super tempting too!
French truck coffee seems to be the popular coffee chain of New Orleans. I’ve ran into so many shops in the area and see everyone with a cup too. The coffee was great. I had one of their unique blends of slow drip. It gave me a lot of energy. They had a lot of unique flavors that I can’t quite remember what I got, but the drinks were very solid. They played great music and the servers were super nice too.
We walked into this beautiful coffee shop with friendly baristas (specifically Dallas) who produced the absolute best pour over and mocha. He answered my questions and then graciously came back to chat about the shop, its origins, and how the business is slowly growing. Hoping to come back before our trip is over!
